HelpFAQ › Selections

What is a selection?

Selections are a way of grouping layers together for an area you are interested in. You can download or purchase multiple layers at time by using a selection.

How do I make the selection map bigger?

A magnifying glass will appear when you hover your mouse over the selection map. Click when the magnifying glass appears and your selection map will expand. You can make the cart small again by clicking the "Back to Koordinates" at top right.

What is the selected area?

The selected area is the geographic location you are interested in purchasing and/or downloading. You must select an area to download or purchase a part of any layer.

Select the area by expanding the cart and clicking "Select area". To change the selected area, expand the selection map and click "change".

Once you've selected an area, Koordinates will give you a quote for the total cost of the layers you've added to your selection. The quote will update automatically if you change the selected area or add/remove layers from your selection.

Can I save my selections for later?

Can I give my selection a name?
