NZ North Island Yard Grid
The NZ North Island and South Island Yard Grids are separate Transverse Mercator Projections.
They were superceded around 1980 by the single New Zealand Map Grid which in turn is superceded by the New Zealand Transverse Mercator. But some people still have historic maps and other records in yard coordinates.
