Announcing our November open data events
Starting on 2 November, we're holding a series of open data events in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch.
We’re excited to announce that we’re holding three open data events around New Zealand in November.
We’re starting with The Future of Open Data in Christchurch on 2 November. Following on from our events in Auckland and Wellington earlier in the year, we’ll be discussing the past, present, and future of open data.
A few days later, we’ll be kicking off our next series of events, the ABCs of (Better) Open Data in Auckland and Wellington. In these events, we’re going to consider not just ‘how to do open data,’ but ‘how to do open data better.’ Featuring short talks from experts in policy, licensing, government and tech, we’ll look at best practices for making data open — and, as always, look to how data publishing and reuse will evolve in the years ahead.
All three events will be followed by drinks and nibbles. Register for free at the links below.
Christchurch, 2 November, 3-4.30pm
Wellington, 7 November, 3-4.30pm
Auckland, 9 November, 3-4.30pm
