he FDOT GIS Surface Width feature class provides the width of the roadway in feet for each segment in the database. This characteristic is defined in the Roadway Characteristics Inventory (RCI) Field Handbook as "Through pavement surface width", and denotes the total road width of all through lanes in a single direction, measured in feet.
