The upper Floridan aquifer wells is a collection of Floridan aquifer well points collected from Florida's five water management districts (WMD's), the USGS, the Geological Survey of Alabama and the Alachua County Environmental Protection Department. The wells from the WMD's are measured twice a year (May and September) for the semi-annual potentiometric surface map. Wells from other sources are measured on a periodic basis and are used if the coincide with the May/September time frame.
