Height points layer from the LINZ 1:50,000 NZTopo database, also known as spot heights.

Definition: A height above a vertical datum, represented on a map by a dot locator with the elevation printed beside the dot. Unlike trigonometrical stations, spot heights are not identifiable on the ground.

Definition: A deliberately formed route of a lesser quality than a road.

Vehicle tracks are defined as all weather routes suitable for four-wheeled vehicles. Foot tracks are defined as formed tracks for the purpose of moving foot traffic.
