The federal NO2, SO2, CO designations layer is a polygon coverage providing area designations as per 40CFR81.305. There are three designation categories: nonattainment, unclassifiable and attainment areas.

Designation areas are defined pursuant to the corresponding federal national ambient air quality standard for each pollutant as per the Clean Air Act.

This data layer is from The California Air Resources board and is current as of November 2003.

This map includes Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and Oregon Department of Human Services’ (DHS) Drinking Water Program Source Water Assessment results for community and non-transient non-community public water systems (PWS) for surface water systems that were active in June 1999 (when Oregon's Source Water Assessment Plan was approved by EPA).

Purpose

This layer was developed in order to spatially reference the watersheds that supply drinking water to surface water intakes for Public Water Systems (PWS) within the state of Oregon. Source water assessments were completed for these PWS's in accordance with the 1996 Amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act and Oregon's 1999 Source Water Assessment Plan. The original list of PWSs was generated in 1999, however additional PWSs may be added in the future. These source areas should be used in conjunction with the locations of potential contaminant source threats as well as mapped sensitive areas to provide an overall picture of the susceptibility of the drinking water system.

The reformulation gives all the maps the same structure and format, allowing them to be combined into regional maps. The associated data tables have information about age and lithology of the map units, also in a standard format. Provide digital maps and databases that, because of their common structure and format, allow creation of regional maps that depict age and lithology of map units. The data is provided in decimal degrees and in Lambert Conformal Conic projection. The data is provided in both coverage and shapefile format, and includes supplemental attribute tables. No attempt was made to reconcile differences in mapping across state boundaries. 2005 publication date Complete None planned -115.692550 -108.394050 37.506613 30.723759 none geology lithology geologic age maps none USA Arizona No warranty, expressed or implied, is made regarding the accuracy or utility of this data for general or scientific purposes, nor shall the act of distribution constitute any such warranty.
